So I am away on holiday on Wednesday and this is what I have been working towards for just over 3 months. I have learnt a lot over the past months and those lessons have encouraged me to change my lifestyle! Although I do have days that are harder than others I push through them! Those are the days that make me realise how far I have come since starting my journey 🙂
With a lot of people going through exams over the next month it can be tempting to stray away from healthy food and move towards the comfort food. But don’t let this happen to you! When you first think you are feeling hungry get a glass of water because you may just be bored, if you realize you are hungry make sure to eat something healthy eg. greek yogurt or a banana. Be creative with clean eating it doesn’t need to be boring plain food.
here is an example of what you can snack on:
150g fat free Greek yogurt
1 chopped plum
cinnamon to flavor
1 lb ground turkey breast
2 egg whites
salt and pepper to season
spray light cooking oil
1 cup corn
1 can beans/chickpeas
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
half cup chicken broth
1 tsp ground cumin
- In a large bowl combine turkey, egg whites, salt and pepper. Roll into balls
- In a large pan add spray light on medium-high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes until brown on all sides
- Add corn, beans, tomatoes, chicken broth and cumin. Mix well.
- Reduce to medium heat and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
200mls unsweetened almond milk

1 slice wholemeal bread
2 egg whites
